A meritorious student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dr.M.M. Zameer continued his medical journey by completing MBBS from BJ Medical college, Pune. Thereafter , he completed his M.S. in general surgery from Government Medical college, Nagpur and stood first in the All India PGI entrance exams to gain admission for M.Ch. in Pediatric surgery from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He also cleared the MRCS from Edinburgh , UK. He is a champion chess player and has also been in the forefront in public speaking activities in school and college alike .
He has been working as a Consultant Pediatric surgeon at Narayana Health, Bangalore, India , since January 2011. His areas of interest are Neonatal surgery, Laparoscopic pediatric surgery, Airway reconstructions, Robotic surgery, Pediatric liver transplants and renal transplants.
He is married to Dr.Lubna who is an Ophthalmologist . He is a doting father to two lovely children and enjoys playing board games with them to unwind after a busy day. He comes across as a warm and sensitive human being with respectful behaviour towards his patients and colleagues.
